The performance of glue coating machine not only affects the gluing quality of veneer, but also determines the amount of glue used, which affects the production cost of plywood. Therefore, the following technical requirements are imposed on roller glue coating machine.
1. Improve the uniformity of glue coating on the entire width of veneer. The specific measures are as follows:
(1) Ensure the manufacturing and installation accuracy of glue coating machine parts. For example, ensure the full runout of the working surface of glue coating roller and squeeze roller to the axis, the parallelism of upper and lower glue coating rollers, and the parallelism of squeeze roller and glue coating roller.
(2) Appropriately increase the diameter of glue coating roller.
(3) According to different types of glue, the rubber coated by glue coating roller adopts different hardness, and the groove on the surface of roller adopts different shapes and size specifications.
2. In order to adapt to veneers of different thicknesses, the spacing between upper and lower glue coating rollers should be adjustable, and the thickness of glue layer should be easy to control and adjust. The thickness of the glue layer is mainly determined by the gap between the glue squeezing roller and the glue coating roller. The adjustment accuracy of the gap should be controlled at about 0.01mm, and the glue coating amount is usually controlled within the range of 105-430g/m2.
3. Improve the wear resistance and rust resistance of the parts of the glue coating machine, and set up necessary safety protection devices to increase the life of the glue coating machine and ensure safe operation.
