High density fiberboard (HDF) is a versatile material that finds application in various industries due to its durability and strength. This step involves steaming and softening the wood chips to facilitate easier separation of fibers. Through heat and mechanical action within the digester, these softened wood chips undergo transformation into individual fibers.
