I. Exhibition Introduction
LIGNA (Hannover Messe for Woodworking Machinery) is a global trade fair for the woodworking and wood processing industry. The exhibition has been held every two years since its establishment in 1975. This is a grand event for the world's woodworking industry and wood processing industry, as well as a woodworking exhibition. LIGNA has become an influential exhibition in the international woodworking machinery manufacturing industry. This exhibition is unmatched by other exhibitions in the world in terms of exhibition scale, the number of exhibitors and visitors, as well as in terms of quality, efficiency and transaction volume. LIGNA2023 brought together 1,300 exhibitors from 50 countries and attracted over 80,000 visitors from more than 160 countries in Hanover, with over 48,000 visitors from abroad. The total exhibition area was nearly 132,000 square meters. As a global event for the woodworking and wood processing, machinery and equipment industries, LIGNA focuses on tools and machinery for custom and mass production, surface technology, forestry technology, wood-based panel production, sawing technology, wood energy and machine components and automation technology, bringing rich related innovations and applications to the entire wood industry.
Since 2011, Zhongyingzhan (Beijing) International Exhibition Service Co., Ltd. has successfully organized groups to participate in six editions of the Hannover Messe International Woodworking Machinery Exhibition in Germany. Ⅱ. Market Introduction:
Germany is one of the economically developed countries in the world. Its economic aggregate ranks third, only after the United States and Japan. According to data released by the German Federal Statistical Office, boosted by factors such as increased domestic consumption and investment and a prosperous export industry, the German economy still maintained stable growth, with a GDP growth rate of 3% for the whole year. Germany is the most populous country in the European Union, with a population of 81 million, and it is one of the three major markets. According to Eurostat, from January to March 2017, Germany's import and export volume of goods was 617.12 billion US dollars. Among them, the export was 341.03 billion US dollars; Imports amounted to 276.09 billion US dollars. The trade surplus was 64.95 billion US dollars, a decrease of 1.7%. From January to March, the bilateral import and export volume of goods between Germany and China was 41.51 billion US dollars. Among them, Germany's exports to China were 22.05 billion US dollars, and Germany's imports from China were 19.46 billion US dollars. As of March, China was Germany's fourth largest export destination and second largest source of imports.
