Description

In addition to cyclones and multi-cyclones, there are various other methods available for reducing costs related to the operation and upkeep of dust collecting and pneumatic conveying systems. These include bag filters, electrostatic precipitators, and wet scrubbers, each with its own unique advantages depending on the specific requirements of the application.

The use of cyclones and multi-cyclones offers an efficient solution for separating particles from air based on centrifugal action. When particle-laden air enters the cyclone through a tangent intake, the centrifugal force propels the particles against the cylinder wall, causing them to descend in a spinning motion before being forced out. Meanwhile, clean air is evacuated through a central chimney created by differences in internal pressure within the cyclone.

Multi-cyclones are particularly effective for high-volume air treatment due to their composition of several individual cyclones from our RF series. This design allows for enhanced efficiency in capturing particles across a wide range of airflow rates while minimizing energy consumption.
