The multilayer press is primarily utilized for the high gloss veneer application of plywood and ecological boards. The number of layers of the multilayer press ranges from 4 to 12. This thickness range is common for MDF door panels and is carefully selected to balance strength, weight, and functionality. Before hot pressing, a special softening treatment is indispensable. This treatment prepares the materials, making them more malleable and receptive to the pressing process, ensuring a superior bond and finish. Pressing can be carried out either through one-time pressing molding or two-time pressing molding. Each method has its own advantages and considerations, and the choice often depends on factors such as the quality requirements, production volume, and available equipment. It has been observed that the latter approach often achieves a significantly better effect. This might be due to the additional time and pressure applied during the two-time pressing, resulting in a more uniform and durable product.
