The "2025 Global Legal & Sustainable Timber Forum (GLSTF 2025)" will take place at MGM COTAI, Macao, from September 23 to 24. Under the theme "From Forest to Home – International Dialogue on Consumption Trends and Supply Chain Innovation", the forum has planned nearly 20 diverse activities including conferences, roundtable dialogues, an exhibition, B2B business matching sessions, and launches. It is expected to attract key participants from the global forest and home furnishing industries from over 40 countries to gather in Macao for high-quality exchange and cooperation.
GLSTF 2025 is co-organized by the Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute (IPIM) and the International Tropical Timber Organization (ITTO), with the Secretariat of the Global Green Supply Chain Initiative for Forest Products (GGSC) serving as the implementing unit. MGM is providing support as the "Diamond Partner".
As an annual international forum highly anticipated by the global timber industry, GLSTF has been held in Macao for two consecutive years in 2023 and 2024. It continues to leverage Macao's platform for MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) events to promote the implementation of numerous international cooperation outcomes and transnational action plans. These include the "Action Framework for Promoting Legal and Sustainable Timber Supply Chains", the "Global Timber Index (GTI) Platform", the "Blockchain-based Timber Traceability System (BTTS)", the "Integration Action Plan for Green Finance and Green Supply Chains", and the "Demonstration Action on Cluster and Park Cooperation between Central Africa and China in the Timber Industry".
