Linyi, China - At a press conference held on August 25, the Linyi Municipal Government unveiled updates for the upcoming 10th World Wood-Based Panel Conference and 2025 Linyi Wood Expo, reinforcing the city's pivotal role in the global wood and smart home industries.
Mr. Zhou Maoyong, Director of the Linyi Forestry Bureau, announced that the high-end panel and green smart home industrial chain now includes 1,583 enterprises above designated size, accounting for 48.6% of the city's 13 key industrial chains. From January to July this year, the sector achieved a remarkable RMB 83.12 billion in output value - ranking first among all core industrial chains in Linyi.
Strategic Development & Planning
Backed by municipal policies and expert guidance from the National Forestry and Grassland Administration, Linyi has launched the High-End Panel and Green Smart Home Industry Chain Development Action Plan. The blueprint aligns with national green manufacturing directives and leverages local resources to drive innovation, sustainability, and intelligent upgrading.
Dedicated Policy Support
Linyi is the first city in the region to introduce specialized policies supporting the transformation and high-quality development of the panel and smart home sector. The municipal government has issued 24 concrete measures covering taxation, energy, land use, financing, and branding, providing a competitive business environment for both local and international investors.

A dedicated industrial task force has identified five key investment areas:
